Gas effect fires, sometimes known as decorative flame effect (DFE). DFE fires are a modern way to bring your fireplace to life without the hassle of maintaining a solid fuel fire. All our models meet European safety requirements, and are fitted with flame failure device this automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame is blown out. All our models also come with an Oxygen depletion valve, so the supply is cut if the oxygen level in the room falls to low. DFE fires are a normally a secondary source of heat, the primary source of heat being your central heating. All our fires can be made to measure to suit traditional and reproduction grates.
